We love good frameworks!

We believe in the power of well-crafted tools and frameworks to drive meaningful change. Our extensive library of resources helps us facilitate tough conversations, uncover strengths, and navigate complex challenges.

We’ve created and customised a range of tools, and we’re always adding new ones to keep our approach fresh and effective.

If you need help or want something tailored to your project, just reach out. We’re here to support you in making the most of these tools.
Our support is available in three different ways:

We organise workshops:

to help you get the most of the tools

Our workshops are tailored to help get the most out of our tools, explore how to use them, and apply them effectively to your project or situation. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your understanding and practice, our workshops are hands-on and adaptable, perfect for any tool in our library. For example:

Participation Continuum

In our practice we often use the Participation Continuum Tool to better understand  the most useful ways of engaging with communities in a particular context. Among other things, the tool helps us to co-design approaches that are fit for purpose, include others in ways that are transparent and mutually beneficial and work out how best to show up ourselves.

We customise tools

to make sure they best serve your objectives

Every place and situation is different and so we customise our tools so they reflect local nuances and are effective. Any tool from our library can be customised to meet the unique needs of your initiative and you can see some of the different versions of tools we’ve created when you click on the tool.

For example:

Iterative Planning

The Iterative Planning tool is a flexible framework designed to guide strategic planning towards a goal or outcome by backcasting. The structure provides for regular reflection and adaptation as the initiative progresses, ensuring that strategies remain relevant and effective as conditions evolve.

We create tools

to meet your unique needs

We love creating tools! They help us see things from different perspectives, analyse, strategise, and bring a bit of playfulness to the process. There’s no task that can’t be turned into a tool. Let us give it a go!

For example:

Community Heart Pulse

The Community Heart Pulse is an interactive visual tool that is easy to use and tells viewers something about others who are (or have been) in the room. Designed to gather and share information by drawing a line and adding some of your own thoughts, this tool helps groups better understand and engage with each other. Developed specially for you, contact us if you’d like one!

We have an amazing
Tool Library

Full of wonderful tools to help you with your projects.
All free to download, use and share!

All our frameworks are licensed under a Creative Commons License, so they’re ready for you to use, share and adapt — each comes with easy-to-follow instructions and you can use them in many other ways too.
