Participation Continuum
In our practice we often use the Participation Continuum Tool to better understand the most useful ways of engaging with communities in a particular context. Among other things, the tool helps us to co-design approaches that are fit for purpose, include others in ways that are transparent and mutually beneficial and work out how best to show up ourselves.

Every place and situation is different and so we customise our tools so they reflect local nuances and are effective. The Community Heart Pulse is an interactive visual tool that is easy to use and tells viewers something about others who are (or have been) in the room. Designed to gather and share information by drawing a line and adding some of your own thoughts, this tool helps groups better understand and engage with each other.
